Helen McClintick

Helen McClintick, 67, formerly of Plymouth, Indiana passed away at 10:43pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2011.  She was born on October 29, 1943 in Willowcliff, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Elva (Rice) West.  She married Gene McClintick in 1972 in Plymouth, Indiana and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2006.  Survivors include one son: Steven McClintick of Cape Coral, Florida, one step - son: Mike McClintick of Texas, four step - daughters: Christinea of Texas, Bonnie, Tina, and Michelle all of the Plymouth, Indiana area, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two sisters: Diana Boroff of Frankford, Delaware, Elsie Palmer of Moro, Illinois, two brothers: John West of Argos, Indiana, Denver West of Plymouth, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews all survive.
She was formerly employed at several nursing homes as a cook.  She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Alton.  She was a member of the TOPS in Bethalto, and she enjoyed playing Bingo at Dad's Club Park in South Roxana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Nancy Moser, Mary Crago, Patricia Ruffing, and one brother: Kenneth West.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.  Funeral services will be held at 5pm on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the funeral home.  Captain Randy Tooley will officiate.  Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth, Indiana. 
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in St. Louis, Missouri.
