Harold Vincent Godar, 78, died at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. He was born July 22, 1939 in St. Louis the son of the late Lester and Ruby (Grissom) Godar. He retired in 1995 from Boeing as an electrician and plumber. He was a member of the IBEW Electrician Union. On April 28, 1979 in Bridgeton, MO he married Diane Elaine (Guest) and she survives. Also surviving are seven children, Denise Barnum, Timothy Godar, Tammy Black (David), Terri Carrol, Travis Godar, Kelly Godar all of California and Michelle Williams (Chris) of Edwardsville, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two sisters, Rita Allen (Al) and Vicky Curry of St. Peters, MO. He was preceded in death by one son, James Godar, one brother, James Godar and one sister, Genie Godar. Services will be later.
