Gregory P. Sallas, 58, of Carlinville, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 1:38 p.m.
He was born October 24, 1966, in Blue Island, IL to August Sallas & Margaret Perez Sallas. He married Lynn Marie Borgini on September 17, 2005 in Carlinville, IL.
He was a gold compliance officer for the county government. Gregory enjoyed modeling old WWII planes and heavy metal music.
He is survived by spouse, Lynn Borgini, his cat, Mayhem, siblings, Victoria Ann Sallas, Laurie Sallas, Jacqueline (Daniel) Ansted, Julia Sallas, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and brother in law, Don (Kathy) Borgini.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents and brother, August Sallas. Friends may call on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Funeral services are Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.
