Gloria Steinkuehler

Gloria Lynn Steinkuehler, 63, of Jerseyville, died unexpectedly at 2:07 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at her residence.She was born in Alton on Nov. 7, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Virginia (McCann) Moore.Gloria had been employed as an assembler at Emerson Electric in St. Louis, Mo., and had worked at McDonnell-Douglas after that, but her main joy was her grandchildren, and spending time with her family.Surviving are four children & their spouses, Deanna (Totty) and Denny Perkinson of Grafton, Misty Totty of Godfrey, Lacey Steinkuehler of Jerseyville, and Lance & Jamie Steinkuehler of Jerseyville; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Melody Torrez of Bethalto.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Moore; and a sister, Donna Washington.Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday.Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to her family in care of the funeral home.
