George “Sonny” J. Michael III, 59, passed away at 7:55 pm Wednesday April 6, 2016 at home.
He was born on February 18, 1957 in Alton, IL the son of the late George Michael Jr and Edna Howard.
He is survived by three sons, William (Jamie) Michael, Timothy (Desire`e) Michael, Eric (Whitney) Michael, eight grandchildren, Ethan, Tobias, Pierce, Gabriel, Jocelyn, Wyatt, Alexis, and Nicole; a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy (Eric) Stauffer of Alton; three nieces, Kayla (Dustin) Edwards, Lacey Freeman and Brittney Booten; and former spouse, Kathy Cisler; one great niece and four great nephews
Visitation will be from 4 pm until time of Funeral services at 7 pm Monday April 11, 2016 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey with Brother Timothy Keller officiating.
Inurnment will be private at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
