Garry Moore, 72, passed away at 3:50am on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 1, 1953, the son of the late Ernie and Martha (Wright) Moore.
Survivors include two daughters: Trisha Jarman of Pittsfield Illinois, Tara Jarman of Pittsfield, Illinois, two sons and daughter in law: Brandin and Amy Moore of Alton, Dalton Taylor of Jerseyville, five grandchildren: Alyssa, Zachariah, Mariah, Ariel, Cody, four great grandchildren: Stella, Andriel, Noveah Andrew, three sisters and a brother in law: Brenda Shafer of Indiana, Marilyn and Jim Henson of Minnesota, Terry Moore of Springfield, Illinois, two brothers and a sister in law: Jim and Judy Moore of Medora, Illinois, Bob Moore of Virginia, Illinois.
Garry was formerly employed at Mead Packing in Godfrey where he made the cartons for Anheuser Busch. He enjoyed playing pool, softball and throwing horseshoes. He was member of the United Methodist Church in Medora, Illinois.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Fred Moore.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
