Frederick Eugene Brooks, 82 of Alton died Thursday, November 5th at Riverside in Alton.
Born October 14th, 1938 in Alton, he was the son of Arthur “Art” and Adelaide Brooks who preceded him in death. His brother Leroy Brooks, and his sister Mary Jo Brooks also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Christie (Todd) Darr and Micah Brooks (Shannon Shepard), both of Godfrey. As well as four grandchildren, Cameron and Maddie Darr and Jackson and Carter Brooks. He is also survived by his siter Jeanette (John) Medlock and his brother Bill (Peggy) Brooks along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday November 9, 2020 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday November 10, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton with Fr. Benjamin Unachukwu OMV celebrant.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
