Frank E. McPherson, Jr., of Wood River, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
He was born in Wood River, on October 18, 1965, the son of Frank E. and Delores M. (Hogle) McPherson, Sr.
Frank worked as a security guard through GuardiaWorld Security and Whelan Security. He was a member of River of Life Church. Frank enjoyed collecting hot wheels and Beatles memorabilia. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Cubs. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his three sisters, Brenda (Kenneth) Jackson of O'Fallon, IL, Susan Green of Wood River, and Pam Dillon of Edwardsville; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald McPherson; and a sister, Vickie McPherson-Heitz.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:30 am until time of service at 11 am, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Ken Buttry will officiate.
Inurnment will be at St. James Cemetery at a later date.
