Eveline F. Calame, 94, passed away at 4:10 AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Riverside Rehab & Health Care.
She was born on October 5, 1926 in Gillespie, IL. the daughter of Ross & Gladys (Perrine) Anderson.
Eveline married John Ferguson on December 31, 1946 in Louisville, KY and he preceded her in death on April 5, 1980. She married Tracy Calame on June 1, 1996 and he preceded her in death on July 24, 1999.
She was a registered nurse at St. Anthony’s Health Care in Alton, loved playing cards and dancing, and was an avid bowler.
Eveline is survived by three children and their spouses, Jack & Amy Ferguson, Gail & Wendell Sims and Scott & Suzi Ferguson; six grandchildren and their spouse, Kelly & Christian Forrest, Brian & Taylor Ferguson, Christie & Josh Batten, Doug & Amy Sims, Rebecca & Zach Case, and Nicholas Ferguson; fourteen great grandchildren, Nate, Blair, Mia, Chris, and Nick Ferguson, Logan Arlint, Ethan, Zachary and Zoe Forrest, Sarah and David Batten, Emily and Matthew Sims, and Amelia Case.
In addition, Eveline is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Don Rideout.
A private visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Monday January 25, 2021 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Godfrey.
