Edward P. Goretzke, 75, of New Florence, MO, born Friday, October 14, 1949, in Warrenton, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

Edward was a proud United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam war.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Parents: Glenn Goretzke and Mary, nee Varnon, Goretzke

Visitation: Visitation from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL with Msgr. Bill McGee officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
