Donna Sue Taylor, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 doing what she loved most, volunteering at the Pet Food Pantry in Alton.
Donna was born July 4, 1950 in Marion County, West Virginia, the only child of Raymond N. and Dortha Louise (Hawkins) Taylor. She was raised in Moon, Pennsylvania.
She moved to Chicago and was hired by Ozark Airlines as a flight attendant in 1981. In 1986 Ozark merged with TWA and Donna merged too. She loved to travel and meet new people, and she did plenty of both.
In 1986, Donna was honored with the Award of Excellence, the highest award given by TWA. Donna took an early retirement in 2003 and started Noah’s Nanny Pet Sitting Service in Alton.
Donna’s parents preceded her in death. Left behind are her two Papillons, Remy and Bijou and friends and pets whose hearts were touched by her love and vivacious personality.
