Donna Lee Bobbs, 84, passed away at 11:30 pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her residence, with her family by her side.
She was born in Fairmont, WV on October 4, 1928 the daughter of the late Earl and Addy (Dobbins) Davis.
She married her husband of 64 years, Edward Thomas (Tom) Bobbs, on October 17, 1948 in West Virginia.
Donna was a Meat Wrapper for National Food Store for 33 years before she retired. She was a member of the VFW Post #1308 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling and dancing every Saturday night at the Chatterbox with her husband and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived her husband Tom, two daughters and their spouses, Roselee Ellen and Dennis Antolik of Brighton, IL, Peggy Lynn and Paul MacDougall of Whitewater, MO; two sons and their spouses, Thomas Edward and Cheryl Bobbs of Bedford, IN, Donald Trent and Monica Bobbs of River Hills, WI; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen Vasciek, Edna Johnson and Delores Davis.
Visitation will be 12 pm to 1 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
