Doloris Eisenreich-Burnett, 100, of Jerseyville, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab.
Doloris was born in a house on 4th of July Hill in Alton, IL, to Heath and Ruth (Oulson) Bright on August 9, 1924, which she loved to tell the story of. She married Pete Boner on December 10, 1942. A daughter, Annette, was born of this marriage. Mr. Boner was killed on January 27, 1947. Doloris married William Eisenreich on September 1, 1951. A son, Gary, was born of this marriage. Mr. Eisenreich died on December 23, 1977. She married Ernest Burnett on November 30, 1987, and he died on July 6, 1993.
She worked for Olin Corporation for 44 years. Doloris retired from Olin in 1987. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville. Doloris was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Society. She was also in the Machinist Union for over 50 years.
She did not like the word "step", so all the children are listed as hers. She is survived by a son, Gary and Sally Eisenreich of Delray Beach, FL; nine grandchildren, Tony Bright, Michelle Wadlow, Billy (Nicki) Eisenreich, Jack Eisenreich, Jamie Flaws, Lee Ann Shumway, Steve Eisenreich, Heidi Marie Eisenreich, and Derik Eisenreich; twelve great-grandchildren, Cameron Bright, Justin Wadlow, Baily Wadlow, Clay Wadlow, Aubrey Flaws, Scott Flaws, MacKenzie Flaws, Brianna Shumway, Lexi Cardona, Lindsey Patterson, Nicolette Eisenreich, and Kylie Eisenreich; two great-great-grandchildren, Miora Mumm and Jack Mumm; and two daughters-in-law, Linda Eisenreich, and Nina Eisenreich.
Along with her parents; and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Walsh; and two sons, Jim Eisenreich, and Bob Eisenreich.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be held form 4 pm to 7 pm, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. Visitation will continue from 11:30 am until time of service at 12:30 pm, at Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville. Pastor David Otten will officiate.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey, IL.
