Deloris M. "Jackie" Whitlock, 72, went to be with her Lord at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis with her family at her side after a very brief battle with luekemia. She was born in Bunker Hill on June 23, 1939, and was one of four children born to Charles & Alice (Landreth) Bland.Jackie grew up in Bunker Hill, and married Jack L. Whitlock on April 14, 1957 in Corinth, Ms. and together they shared 49 years together before his death on June 9, 2006.Surviving are her mother, Alice Bland of Bunker Hill; two daughters & a son in law, Jeannette Snyders and Annette & Danny Bohannon all of Dow; eight grandchildren & their spouses, Amber & Jimi Hill of Brighton, Derrick & Chelsey Bohannon of Highland, Brandi & Shawn Melton of Carrollton, Jack Bockholdt, and his fiance' Heather Hickey of Eldred, Jessy Snyders, and his fiance' Tess Price of Alton, Danielle Day, and her fiance' Nick DeSherlia of Batchtown, Jary Snyders of Grafton, and Dalton Whitlock of Dow;  nine great grandchildren, Aubrey, Cierra, Harlie, Kayden, Nevaeh, Jaela, Tyler, Miley and Carter; a brother & sister in law, Keith & Linda Bland of Maryville.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bland; a son in law, Kevin Snyders; a brother, Gary Bland; and her twin sister, Joyce Brownsfield.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Charity Christian Church in Jerseyvill with Rev. Wilbur Cain officiating.Burial will be in the Noble Cemetery in Otterville.Memorials may be given to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
