Della Mae Laslie, 86, passed away at 9:30 am on Saturday June 8, 2013 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab Center in Jerseyville.
She was born on October 6, 1926 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Bill and Sarah (McCann) Kogel.
She married her husband John Laslie on February 27, 1946. He passed away in 1993.
She is survived by her daughter Della “Sue” and her spouse Robert Denother of Fosterburg, son John and spouse Tamara Laslie of Brighton, and nine grandchildren, John, Daniel, Matthew, Eric, David, Shaun Laslie, Ronald and Michael Denother, and Sarah Johnson and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son David Laslie, and four brothers; Roy, William, Robert, and Howard Kogel.
Graveside services will be held at Fosterburg Cemetery in Fosterburg at 2:00 pm June 11, 2013 with Pastor John Laslie III officiating
