Deborah K. Parker, 47, passed away at 6:15 pm Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Relais Bonne Eau with her family by her side, while under the care of Hospice of Southern Illinois.
She was born on June 17, 1963 in Yuba City, CA, the daughter of Jerry and Marlene (Howerton) Johnson.
She married Andrew Parker on October 19, 1985 in Edwardsville. He survives.
Deborah was a legal secretary for an attorney’s office. She was a 1981 graduate of Civic Memorial High School and went to Hickey’s Business School in St. Louis, MO.
In addition to her husband and her parents of Bethalto, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Greg Bollmann of Edwardsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Amy Johnson of Sherwood, OH and her nieces and nephews, Tyler, Cassie and Jennessa
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Terry McKinzie officiating.
Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
