Deborah K. Bextermueller, 61, passed away at 5:30 am, Monday, January 21, 2013 at Saint Anthony’s Hospital.
She was born in Alton, IL on June 9, 1951, the daughter of Luther Edward and Geneva Margaret (Grant) Disher.
On August 25, 1972 she married David L. Bextermueller, her husband of 41 years.
Deborah enjoyed gardening flowers, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved going to Nascar races but what she loved the most was spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Monica and Steve Meng of Roswell, GA and Courtney and Joel Byington of Fate, TX; one sister and her spouse, Magi and Rob Leone of Springfield, MO; one brother and his spouse, Terry and Kathy Disher of East Alton, IL; and five grandchildren, Eliza, Kyle, Becca, Kaylie and Lily.
Visitation will be from 3 pm until time of service at 7 pm, Saturday January 26, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL with Brother Randy Butler officiating.
