Dax Determan, 51, of Wood River, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. He was born December 5, 1971 in Alton. He was a great airplane mechanic. In his free time, he loved to fish and watch sports. He often excelled at anything he tried. He was an excellent guitar player, who was endorsed by Gretsch Guitars. He dearly loved his children and not a day went by that he did not think about them or miss them.
He is survived by his father, David Determan of Wood River; son, Dax W. Determan of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Pearl and Daisy Determan of Tucson, AZ and sisters, Jill (Chris) Rosecrans of Wood River and Jay Kemp (fiancé, Ron Maynard) of Wood River.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue (Wells) Determan.
