David Benard Laws-Milford, 78, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024 at his home in Alton.
Born August 20, 1946 in Alton, he was the son of Elmer L. and Mary (Jalee) Milford. David was an avid artist and musician.
He married the former Claudia J. Laws on June 10, 2019 in Edwardsville.She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Eric Milford, Vincent Milford (Heather) and David Milford, 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one sister, Helen Elliott.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Gail Milford, and three brothers, Ronnie, Michael, and Ralph Milford.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
