David A. Roe, 50, passed away at 2:26 am, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Alton, IL on October 4, 1962 the son of the late Billy and Ruth (Oleson) Roe.
David was a member of the Cottage Hills VFW Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie 254 in Alton. He worked for Train in St. Louis, MO. He also enjoyed barbequing, Nascar and going to car shows.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Roe of Godfrey; one brother and his spouse, Billy and Sue Roe of East Alton; one nephew, Joshua Roe and family in Montana; several uncles, aunts, cousins; and his dog Buster, who was like a son to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton, IL.
Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Olney officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bethalto United Methodist Cemetery in Bethalto, IL.
