Darlene Ann Kostecki, 58, of Madison, IL, passed away Wed. Dec. 4, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born Jan. 28, 1966 in Granite City, IL to the late Benny and Lillian (Bass) Mangiaracino.
On Feb. 14, 2009, she and Julius “Joe” Kostecki were married in Madison. He survives.
Darlene was a bartender at AmVets Post #204 in Madison. She was a member of St. Mary’s St. Mark’s Catholic Church, the AmVets #204 and the Neighborhood Social Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 step-children: Cynthia (Clint) Griggs of Bethalto, IL and Philip (Kelsey) Kostecki of Aviston, IL; and 7 grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.
