In addition to her parents and husband, Darlene was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Bruder, and by her siblings, Elmer Dehn Jr., Florence Doolin, John Dehn and Janet Bramell.

Darlene is survived by her loving children, Debbie (Don) Harris of Granite City, IL, Denise (Pastor Jim) Rosene of Rockford, IL, Darla (Mike) Minick of Panama City Beach, FL, and Delora (Pastor Marty) DeRoche of Cutler, IL; dear son-in-law, Randy Bruder of Granite City, IL; proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Darlene will be laid to rest next to James at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.

In celebration of her life, a memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, with the memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, Granite City, IL, with Pastor Marty DeRoche, Pastor Jim Rosene and Pastor Jarad Corzine officiating.
