Danny “Pollock” L. Knestaut, 57, passed away on September 14, 2012 at home while under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
He was born on January 30, 1955 in Butler, PA the son of Ron and Shirley (Hawkins) Emmons.
He worked at Laclede Steel Company for nearly 30 years until closed in 2001.
He is survived by Nora Thomson of Alton, his mother, Shirley Emmons of Ohio, three sons, Caleb Nestaut of Pennsylvania, Jeremy Knestaut of St. Charles, MO and Shane Knestaut of Jerseyville, two grandchildren, Isaak Knestaut, and Kristopher Knestaut, and a brother, Dean Knestaut of Ohio.
Per his wishes cremation rites were accorded.
A memorial services will be held on September 29, 2012 at 12 noon at the Cottage Hills VFW.
