Daniel Ulett

Daniel Anthony Ulett, 70, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.  He was born January 17, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Angelo and Bernice (Hoefler) Ulett.  Daniel was a welder and co-owner and operator of Angelo Welding Company in Jennings, Missouri.  He had also worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Veteran’s Home of Missouri and as a factory worker at Reckitt Benckiser in St. Peters, Missouri.  He was a faithful member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in St. Louis and a member of the ASPCA and many other charitable organizations.  He proudly served his country with the United States Army and was a veteran of Desert Storm.  He enjoyed serving others and was a volunteer with Jamestown New Horizons helping special needs children.  He had a love for animals and cherished his many pets throughout the years.  He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Trudy Ulett of St. Louis and John and Mary Jo Ulett of Marthasville, Missouri; a sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary (Ulett) and Roger Tubbs of O’Fallon, Missouri; many nieces; nephews; cousins; other extended family and many friends.  In celebration of his life, a memorial visitation will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 10235 Ashbrook Dr, St. Louis, MO 63137 from 10:00 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024.  Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.  Memorials may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation.  Irwin Chapel of Granite City in charge of arrangements.  www.irwinchapel.com
