Daniel (Danny) S. Pichee, 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born on February 19, 1961, in Alton, IL, the son of Robert L. and Frances Jean (Maher) Pichee.
He graduated from Marquette Catholic High School in 1979 where he excelled as a student-athlete in both Baseball and Football and continued his football playing career at Illinois College.
He married Marie A. Rodgers on March 30, 1985, in Wood River, IL.
He worked as an Aerospace Machinist for GKN Aerospace and was a proud member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 837. He was an avid golfer, car enthusiast, and active participant in the Patriot Guard Riders.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Pichee; his mother, Jeannie Pichee (Alex Datzuk) of Godfrey, IL; children, Nicholas Pichee (Fiancé - Kylie Suter) and Randall Pichee, all of Godfrey, IL; eight grandchildren, Nolan, Neal, Owen, Madison, Aubree, Lane, Dylan, and Cole; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean (Terri) Pichee of Jupiter, FL, Darin (Tammy) Pichee of Brighton, IL, and Douglas (Beth) Pichee of Alton, IL; and brother-in-law, Paul Rodgers of Bethalto, IL; and his loyal K-9 companion, Ashton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Pichee; paternal grandparents, Ervin (Theresa) Pichee; and maternal grandparents, Francis Maher and Alice Gottlob.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2025, followed by the visitation from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes in Godfrey, IL with Father Jeff Holtman OSF officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Nicholas Pichee to be allocated to the Dan Pichee Memorial Scholarship Fund that will afford the opportunity to attend Marquette Catholic High School to a deserving incoming freshman.
