Dana Gail Smock Fisher, 40, died at 7:52 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born April 21, 1972 in Alton, she was the daughter of Sharon Wahle of Godfrey. She graduated from Alton High School and Alvareita’s College of Cosmetology and worked as a beautician in the Alton area. She attended Lewis & Clark Community College and Belleville Area College.
Along with her mother, she is survived by a son, Christopher Bonney Jr. of Alton, a daughter, Alexis Fisher of Godfrey, her twin brother, Donald Smock of Alton and a brother William Coates of Godfrey, two sisters, Vicky Reed of Gillespie and Sheryl Rutledge (James) of Brighton, and her companion, Travis Lyles of Alton. She greatly loved her children, nieces, nephews and extended family and was loved by Travis’ family; the Kearbey’s and Streich’s.
A memorial visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be private.
