Dana L. Murray, 60, died at 7:04 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home in Alton.
Born February 23, 1961 in Alton she was the daughter of Claude Wilderman Jr. and Charlotte Kay (Hunt) Wilderman.
Dana was an RN for 37 years and recently worked for the Jersey County Health Department. She enjoyed vacationing at Bull Shoals Lake, wearing bandanas and flip flops with socks. She loved her extended family, shopping on Amazon, Sunday football and playing golf. On October 8, 1983 she married Tom Murray in Alton. He survives.
Also surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Katy and Troy Snyder of Alton, a son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Lauren Murray of Alton, two grandchildren, Oliver Snyder and Louis Murray, and Erin Gernigin of Alton who was like a second daughter to her.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Wilderman.
A celebration of life will be at the Alton Moose on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 3:30-7:04 p.m., yes 7:04 p.m. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
