Dallas Moore

Dallas L. Moore, Sr., 87, passed away at 2:10 am on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Alhambra Care Center.
He was born on December 13, 1933 in Pinckneyville, the son of Clarence Moore and Mabel (Davis) Moore-Owen.
Dallas was a machinist for Schoeneweis Tool and Die until he retired in 1996.
He married Janet Stone on May 2, 1953 in Pinckneyville.
Dallas is survived by his wife; a son, Dallas (Alberta) Moore, Jr. of South Roxana; a daughter, Jeanie (Rick) Farrow of Godfrey; three grandchildren, Michael Moore, Amy Loepker, and Nicholas Farrow; and four great-grandchildren, Heaven Moore, Viktor and Owen Farrow, and Jake Loepker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Alfred Owen.
Visitation will be held from 9 am until the time of service at 11 am on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Baptist Church in Alton.
