Granite City |

Cynthia Jo Millsap, age 79, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her home. Cynthia was born on February 13, 1944 in Granite City, IL, a daughter of the late Louis and Helen (McNeely) Lasiter.

On June 29, 1974, Cynthia married Danny Charles Millsap, the love of her life in Granite City, IL. Danny passed away on April 24, 2013. Cynthia retired from Champions Wedding as a wedding coordinator after twenty years of dedicated service. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents and husband, Cynthia was preceded in death by a son, John Millsap.

She is survived by her loving children, Lisa Mitchell of Granite City, IL, Brian Millsap of Granite City, IL, Jason (Shequera) Millsap of FL, Michele (John) Menendez of St. Louis, MO, David Millsap and Darron (Denise) Millsap; dear brother, Michael Lasiter of Granite City, IL; proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; extended family and many friends.

In celebration of her life, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.

Memorial donations may be given to Midwest Children’s Burn Group of St. Louis or to Cynthia’s family.
