Cynthia L. Creamer, 64, died at 6:34 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at her home in Godfrey. Born February 21, 1947 in Alton, she was the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Parker) Crain. She retired from Macy’s Department store and loved to BBQ at home. On October 26, 1968 in Alton, she married Ronald Creamer. He survives. Also surviving is a brother, Gary Crain and Jackie Ewing of Bethalto, four sisters, Janice St. Clair and her husband Jeff of Bunker Hill, Judith Cox of Cottage Hills, Cathy Gray and her husband Ed of Alton, and Mary Mahon and her husband Paul of Germantown Hills, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her dog Barney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Crain. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Reverend Ray Robinson will officiate. Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alton Memorial Hospital Building Fund.
