Conrad G. Stark, Sr. passed away on September 25, 2010 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his son Conrad Stark, Jr. in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Drema L. Stark; daughter, Carolyn Kessinger and her husband Steve Kessinger; son, Eric Stark and his wife Beth Stark; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was born on June 19, 1932 to Hazel and Cecil Stark of Sanger, West Virginia. He served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. He married Drema Poston on June 19, 1953. He was retired from Laclede Steel Works where he was employed for 36 years.
He was a citizen band radio hobbyist, and was known as "Tater" to his CB friends. Over the years, he also enjoyed fishing, gardening and reading.
A private service will be held.
