Christopher Michael “Boo” Dooley, 32, of Bridgeton, Missouri and formerly of Wood River, Illinois passed away at 5:35 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 27, 1992. Christopher married Dr. Morgan Ashley (Emery) Dooley in St. Charles, Missouri on August 19, 2023.
He had worked ten years as a hydroblaster and was loving his role as a stay at home dad. He loved video gaming and enjoyed his favorite games of RuneScape. He also enjoyed his days of fishing and hunting.
Christopher Michael Dooley was many things to many people. He was the husband and love of her life to his wife Morgan. He was the beloved father and best friend to his son Christian. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, an uncle, and a friend to many. He was the guy who pretended to be tough but in the end would always be there and give you the shirt off his back. He was always the one to crack a joke and make you laugh, especially if he thought you needed it. He was always a ray of sunshine and positivity in the darkness. He loved his family more than anything and would do anything for them. There is a void that has been created in the hearts of his loved ones by his loss that will never be able to be filled.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his son, Christian James Dooley; mother, Susan Dooley and her significant other, Troy Smith, of Brighton; sister, Stephanie Dooley of Troy; grandmother, Shirley Dooley of Alton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, JoAnn and R. Eric Emery of Ballwin, Missouri; sister-in-law, Hannah Emery and Joel Berger of St. Louis; brother-in-law, Logan Emery and Matt Naylor of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; nephews, Nolan and Cooper; niece, Myka Berger; aunt; many cousins; other extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Dooley and uncle, Ronald Dooley Jr.
In celebration of his life, a visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the family to establish a trust fund for his son and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
