JERSEYVILLE- Christina Sara Lyming, 77, died at 7:28 a.m., Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her residence.She was born on Nov. 21, 1935, the last surviving of four children born to the late Clay Roosevelt & Ruth Christina (Renken) McAdams.Christina was a devoted and loyal member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville, and she was honored to serve as the worship chairperson, and was involved in the church prayer chains, love meals, Altar Guild, church choir, and served as a Sunday school teacher for 25 years.She married John Lyming Jr. on June 7, 1952 at the Otterville Baptist Church, and they shared 60 years together before his death on Jan. 25, 2013.Surviving are her two sons & a daughter in law, John David Lyming of Jerseyville, and Daniel Henry & Aimee Lyming of Cape Fair, Mo.; Seven Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; along with numerous loving nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry McAdams and Donald McAdams; a sister, Betty Frazer; and her step father, Samuel Dean.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville, with Rev. Robert Heimgartner officiating.Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the Hope Lutheran Church of Jerseyville
