Charles “Pinky” Edward Fentress

Charles “Pinky” Edward Fentress, 73, passed away at 9:10 am Monday November 22, 2010 at Hannibal Hospital.



He was born on December 5, 1936 in East Alton, the son of Willie Bond & Ruby (Willoughby)  Fentress.



He owned and operated Charles Fentress Construction until he retired.



He is survived by two sons, Joseph Fentress of California and Matthew Fentress of Wisconsin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ruby & Raymond Mesecher, and Tammy Stephens, all of Griggsville, IL; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Fillinghim and Mary Gold, both of East Alton.



Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday November 26, 2010 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.



Cremation rites will follow.



Memorials may be made to the family.
