Charles Edward Corzine, 89, of East Alton, IL, passed away at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, January 24, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton, IL.
He was born Aug. 8, 1931 in Jerseyville, IL to the late Charles H. & Julia (Fishback) Corzine.
On Mar. 29, 1957, he and Marilyn M. Neese were married in East Alton. She survives in East Alton.
Charles was a U.S. Coast Guard reservist. He had been a union carpenter throughout his life, retiring from Shell Oil. He also served the community as a volunteer firefighter for Rosewood Heights Fire Department for many years.
In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by a daughter: Debbie (Gary) Mohr of O'Fallon, MO; a son: Steve Corzine of Wood River, IL; a granddaughter: Andrea Mohr of O'Fallon, MO; and a sister: Donna Scott of MO.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Corzine.
Private burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
