Charles E. Dunehew, Jr., 75, of Belleville, IL, born November 16, 1949, in Presque Isle, Maine, died Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Lebanon, IL.
Charles was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, concluding his distinguished service at Scott Air Force Base, IL. Following his military retirement, he embarked on a successful second career at Rock Tenn in St. Louis, MO, where he worked for several years before retiring in 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Sr., and Pearl, nee Campbell, Dunehew.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy A. Dunehew, nee Fairbrother; his son, Bruce (Jacqueline) Dunehew; three grandchildren, Jaiden, Bram, and Jadzia Dunehew; two brothers, Dave (Lynne) Dunehew and Allen (Cindy) Dunehew; and many nieces and nephews.
