Charlene Cox

Charlene Cox age 66 recieved rest and peace on Saturday Jan 1, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. at  her home with her family at her side. She was born on July 20,1944 in Alton, IL. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Colla Mae Lucas. She was employed at Olins Corp. for 45 years.  She was united in Holy Matrimony to Leo Cox on June 4, 1966. To this union 4 children were born, Wendy Gray of Alton, IL, Cleveland (Lisa) Cox of Liberty Township,OH, Leo Cox Jr. of Alton, IL and Michael (Tonya) Cox of Bethalto, IL;.7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to  her husband and children, she  is survived by 4 sisters, Charlotte Watkins of Milwaukee, WI, Ernestine Lucas, Willie Mae Lacey and Lucy Brown all of Alton. 3 brothers, Charles (Ida) Lucas Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Otis (Vanessa) Lucas and Tyrone Lucas of both of Alton, IL. 3 brothers-in-law, Norval Cox Jr., Donald Cox both of Alton and Samuel Cox ofJacksonville, FL., a sister-in-law Barbara Weeden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation: Friday Jan 7, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Cathy M.
