Carolyn Schutz Losch, 82, passed away at 10:17 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at her residence in Roxana with her family by her side.

She was born on October 21, 1942, in Alton, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Jean (Bohannon) Schutz. She married Charles “Gene” Losch in Alton on December 26, 1964, and he survives. Other survivors include two sons and a daughter in law: John Losch, Mark and Kathy Losch, a Grandson: Anthony Losch and his fiancé: Rebekah McCartney, many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and extended family.

A graduate of Roxana High School, Carolyn was proud to be a part of the Losch Farm Legacy, where she was a floral expert and managed Losch’s Farm and Greenhouse. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Congregation in Alton. She was a loving and strong lady and an excellent cook.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Elder Brian Chastain will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon at The Losch Family Plots.

Memorials are suggested to the Alton Jehovah’s Witness congregation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
