Buddy Joseph Hook, age 89 of Alton, IL. has returned to his heavenly home after peacefully passing at Christian Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
He was born August 5, 1935 in McLeansboro, IL. the son of the late Alfred and Alta (Emerson) Hook.
Buddy was a graduate of Alton High School and the University of Cincinnati earning a degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his career with Wagner Electric in St. Louis and retired from Kuhlman Electric Corporation in Crystal Springs, MS.
He married Carmen Jacquina Fitzhugh on December 21, 1957 in Alton, and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Stephanie Buell of Nashville, TN., one son, Reginald of Alton, grandchildren: Jessica Redmon, Franklin, TN.; Lauren Coppedge, Dallas, TX.; Seth Buell, Hales Corners, WI.; nine great grandchildren and one brother, Virgil Hook of Godfrey, IL.
His final resting place will be Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter in Godfrey, IL.
