Bruce Norfleet, 44 departed this life Sunday morning, July 13, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Bruce was born in Joliet Illinois to Annie Eva Mae May and Willie Wells on October 3, 1969
He was adopted by Robert Norfleet in 1972. Bruce accepted Christ at a young age he was a member of The Way of Faith Christian Center in Alton.
Bruce is preceded in death by Brother, Andrew Lee May Jr., Grandfather, Isiah Johnson and Step father, Andrew Lee May Sr.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Toi Norfleet. They were married in Alton, Illinois on October 2, 2004 at The Way of Faith Christian Center. Bruce had three sons Dontaya Pruitt of (Joliet IL) Louis McCain and Trevion Taylor of (Alton IL) One Daughter Ericka McCain of (Joliet IL) Three grandchildren all of (Joliet IL) Three sisters, Beverly Wells of (Miami FL), Tangela Wells of (Kankakee IL), Willie Mae Wells of (Madison FL) Also Two brothers Willard May and Anton C May of (Joliet IL). He is also survived by a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Bruce attended Central High School in Joliet and graduated in 1988. He went to Southern Illinois University and started his degree in business. Bruce was employed by Trust Auto in Godfrey IL where he worked in sales and mechanics. He was also working on his Master’s degree in business at American Intercontinental University. In March of 2014 Bruce started B&L Power and Shammy Inc. where he and his son Louis diligently worked. Bruce will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
