Brian C. Davis, 50, passed away at 6:17 am, October 23, 2011 at Christian North East Hospital.

 

He was born in Alton, IL on September 30, 1961 the son of the Billy C. and Yvonne (Norris) Davis.

He was an Aggregate Technician and worked at the scale house at Bluff City Mineral. He was a member of the pool league at Wayne Allens in Alton, where he was a Karaoke DJ. He sang and played his guitar with the Greg Harris band. He enjoyed music and musical instruments. He made his own records. He enjoyed genealogy, archeology, drawing, collecting firearms. He was a member of the National Rifleman’s Association. He also enjoyed looking for arrow heads and Indian Relics. He was a loving son & father, and enjoyed spending time with his family.  .

He is survived by two daughters; Dawn Davis of Alton, and Cheyenne Davis of Brussels, three grandchildren Kane Hamelmann, Kaylee Hamelmann and Mia Hamelmann, four brothers; Billy D, and his spouse Angela Davis of Alton, Scott Squires of Grafton, Steve Squires of Alton, and Kevin and his spouse Dolly Squires of Alton, and many nieces and nephews.

His sister; Carla Rae Grammer, his maternal grandparents Bill and Pat Norris, and his paternal grand parents; Richard and Susie Davis preceded him in death.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. .

Memorials may be directed to his daughter’s trust fund or The American Diabetes Association or The American Kidney Foundation.
