Bonnie Lucille Terrell, 75, died at 2:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2013 at Alton Memorial Hopsital in Alton, IL. Born in Alton on February 9, 1938, she was the daughter of late Richard E. and Clema M (Thorn) Main.
She married Bill Terrell on June 10, 1974 in Grafton, IL and he preceded her in death in 1979.
Bonnie attended Grafton Schools and resided there for many years before relocating to Shipman in 1990.
She was an avid book reader and enjoyed playing one of her favorite games on the computer. She also had a passion for angels, and had built up quite a collection of various angels throughout the years.
Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Sharon and Nelson Wrestler of Salem, AR; Jeff and Sandy Main of Roodhouse and Angela Terrell of Shipman; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three sisters and their spouses, Doris Wallace of Jerseyville, Debby and Bud Barber of Staunton, Ramona and Melvin Highfill of Jerseyville; 2 brothers Paul Main of Grafton, Gerald Main of Rosewood Heights; A step son & his wife, Ben & Robin Terrell of West Virginia.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and William George “Pete” Main; along with 2 sisters, Joyce Brooks and Carol Walsh.
Per her wishes cremation rights have been accorded.
A memorial visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Crawford Funeral Home where a memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joel Lohr officiating. Inurnment will take place immediately following the memorial service at Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton.
Memorials may be given to her family to provide for continued care for her daughter, Angela, in care of the funeral home.
