Bobbi Jean Weber, 52, passed away at 10:06 a.m. on Monday, September 6, 2010, at her residence. She was born on July 23, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Max "Tuney" Clark. Survivors include three sons and a daughter in law: Victor and Jamie Weber of Staunton, Illinois, Max "Ben" Weber of Cottage Hills, Illinois, John Hargrave of Ohio, one granddaughter: Payten Mae Weber of Staunton, one brother and his wife: Ray Lynn and Margaret Clark of Godfrey, her special sons: Kyle Bassett of Wood River, Steve Gold of Wood River, her dear friends: Carol Ann Weber of Roxana, Lynn Bassett of Bethalto, Jan McAdams of Brighton, and Mary Gold of Wood River.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family, friends, and pets were the center of her life. She was a foster home for unwanted animals and she loved and rescued many neglected pets. She volunteered at many local animal shelters.
She was preceded in death by her father: Max "Tuney" Clark, her paternal grandparents, her maternal grandmother: Mary Buckshot, and her adopted grandpa: "Chick".
Memorial visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. In celebration of her life, memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Riverbend Humane Society.
