Billie Eugene Hendricks, 94, formerly of Hartford, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his residence.
Born May 30, 1926 in Tamms, IL, he was the son of John William and Jessie E. (Holmes) Hendricks.
A U.S Army Air Corps/Air Force veteran, he served during World War II and Korean Conflict. He was an inspector for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis for 45 years before retiring. He had been a long-time member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Wood River.
On June 12, 1948 in Hartford he married Wanda Marshall. She died March 17, 2007.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Bucher of Cleveland, GA, Sharon (C. David) Patton of Plano, TX; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Private services and burial will be in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. Rev. Darrell Bucher will officiate.
