Beulah Lee McClain, 92, died at 5:54 a.m., Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Jerseyville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.She was born in New Johnsonville, Tn. on March 2, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Flora (McCaleb) Daniel.Beulah graduated from Tribble High School in Hustburg, Tn. with the Class of 1941, and married OrvieEndes "Mac" McClain on Jan. 21, 1945 in Walnut Ridge, Ak.  The began their marriage in Missouri, where she worked at the Little Ten Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau  and at the International Shoe Factory in Charleston.Mo.  In 1954, they moved to Jersey County, where they raised their family, and continued the blessings of their 71 year marriage.Surviving are her husband, Orvie "Mac" McClain of Jerseyville; two sons & daughters in law Donald Ray and Sissy McClain of Grafton and Major Robert & Debbie McClain of Ennis, Mt.; three daughters and a son in law, Patricia & Jim Walkington of Meredosia, Vickie Sue Clark of Tower Hill and Lisa Dawn McClain of Jerseyville; a daughter in law, Sally McClain of Orange, Va.;  Eight Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie "Betty" Buck of Gordonville, Mo., and Gayla Volz of Oak Ridge, Mo.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul Edward McClain; two infant granddaughters; a son in law, James Clark; two brothers, Joe Daniel and Charlie Daniel; and two sisters, Oneida Zeigler and Jane Pattengill.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday.  Rev. David Brown, pastor of the Dow Southern Baptist Church where Beulah was a member, will officiate.Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
