Betty June Henkhaus (Danneman) 101, passed away at her home on February 3rd, 2025.
Betty was born on January 19, 1924 to the late Harry and Louisa (Favre) Danneman, and step mother Marie (Ellis) Danneman.
On May 8th, 1943, Betty married Cletus E. Henkhaus who preceded her in death in 2009. Together they raised 9 children.
Betty is survived by her children: Victor (Ann), Susan Higgins, David (Terri), Chris (Julie), and Mary (Andrew) Harshbarger; 27 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her children Daniel, Joseph, Patricia Wolff, Tommy Dooley; grandchildren John Ryan, and Nicholas Warner.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
There will be a short visitation at St. Ambrose community center Thursday, February 13 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Memorial mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose and burial to follow at St. Joseph's cemetery in Alton, IL.
Memorials are suggested to St. Ambrose Masses.
