Betty Brown-Riddle, age 75 of Edwardsville, IL, born September 6, 1947, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at her residence.
Betty attended SIUE and Fontbonne University and earned a Master of Business Administration. She worked in sales administration at Merck & Company for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Jeniece (nee Smith) Biggs; first husband, Michael Brown; and two brothers: James and Louis Biggs.
Surviving is her husband, James Riddle, whom she married in October of 2000; her four children: Michael (Marie) Brown, Michelle (Jerry) Christ, Paul (Kim) Brown, and Jackie (Tom) Bruns; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Bullard; two brothers: Don (DeAnne) Biggs and Tim (Mignon) Biggs; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.
A funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Rev. Michael Walther officiating. The burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
