Bertha T. Lindley, 91, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Willow Rose Rehab & Health Care.

Born July 29, 1933 in Highland, she was a daughter of August J. and Anna M. (Strubhart) Baer.

Bertha worked for Olin Corp. at the powder mill for 25-30 years, retiring in 1995.
Surviving are her children, Brenda (Fred) Reiske, Roger Lindley, and Bill Lindley, all of Wood River, and David Lindley of Bethalto; four grandsons and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings, Joseph, Herbert, Alphonse, Charles, Elmer and Aloysius Baer, Amelia Langel, Irene Hoffman, Dorothy Smith, and Gertrude Lampe.
