Barbara S. Steckel, 43, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014.
Born Nov. 3, 1970 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Charles Ball of Alton and Kathy (Miles) Ball, also of Alton.
She worked as a waitress at Fast Eddie’s Bon-Air in Alton.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her children, Joseph Corzine of Wood River, Blake Corzine of Dorsey, Autum Garner and Noah Garner, both of Bethalto; 2 grandchildren, Kenlee Corzine and Skye Westfall; her brothers, Charles Ball, Jr. of Alton, Shane (Amanda) Burns of Granite City, and Bill (Amy) Ball of Godfrey; and her nieces, Trisha and Ava Ball.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 12 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 9 a.m. until services begin at 1 p.m. Pastor Patrick Thatcher will officiate.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
