Barbara Ann Lamere, 70, of Alton, IL died at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born December 13, 1953 in St. Louis, MO, she was the youngest child of Gilbert William and Marjorie Elizabeth (Straitor) Parker. She married Michael Lamere in Edwardsville, IL in September of 2014. He preceded her shortly in death. Surviving is a daughter, Sarah Harrison (Chalon) of Alton, two sons, Matt Harrison (Darlene) of Belleville, and Paul Harrison (Falon) of St. Louis, MO, two granddaughters, Jillian Hines and Aela Harrison, a sister, JoAnn Null of Kansas, sister-in-law Jolie Parker of Nebraska, and first husband, Kit Harrison (Joan) of Alton. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, George Parker and Joe Parker and a sister, Patricia Parker. A visitation will be scheduled at a later date.
